Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights takes suo motu cognizance of media reports alleging sexual assault of a minor girl by Police Inspector Vikas Deykar at the Crime Branch Office, Old Goa. During the search, his Activa scooter, yellow slippers, black water bottle and mobile phone were found near the riverside area in front of Feni village, Savoi Verem. The complainant has expressed suspicion of abduction. • The Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), Panaji, will shift from Patto Plaza to Royal City of Joy, Near Audit Bhawan, Pilerne, Bardez, Goa, effective November 2, 2026; Applicants with appointments from November 2 onwards must visit the new premises as per their scheduled date and time.
