The opposition party accused the GIDC of spending crores of rupees solely on website design and logo creation. Dismissing these claims as misinformation, Minister Godinho clarified the exact allocation of the funds during a public address.

The minister explained that the Rs 19 crore budget was not spent merely on a single website, but on developing a comprehensive digital portal alongside a major rebranding effort. He stated that the total cost encompasses several components, including technical experts, updated manuals, employee ID cards, official brochures, and complete institutional branding materials.

Through this clarification, the government aims to refute AAP's claims of wasteful spending, emphasizing that the project is a multi-faceted digital transformation and identity overhaul designed to upgrade GIDC's operational infrastructure.
