Goa Forward Party (GFP) chief and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai visited the ITI Multipurpose Booth at Borda, where the Election Commission of India (ECI) is conducting a special camp for voter enrolment and shifting of votes.

During his visit, Sardesai was informed that voters seeking to shift their voting constituency were being asked to wait for three months, despite having submitted all the required No Objection Certificates (NOCs).

Highlighting the inconvenience caused to voters, Sardesai stressed the need for proper training of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and greater clarity on documentation requirements. He said procedural confusion should not prevent eligible voters from completing the process smoothly.

Sardesai also demanded that another special camp be organised next Sunday after the BLOs receive the necessary training, enabling voters to complete their enrolment and vote-shifting procedures without unnecessary delays.
