Former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar has questioned Chief Minister Pramod Sawant over the state government’s ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ programme, alleging that the initiative is an election stunt rather than a genuine effort to address the concerns of Goans.

Patkar has demanded accountability from the government, urging it to prioritise resolving public grievances instead of focusing on publicity-driven programmes.

Questioning the intent behind the initiative, Patkar maintained that government outreach programmes should deliver tangible solutions to people’s problems rather than merely serve as platforms for public visibility.

He called on the Chief Minister and the administration to ensure that the issues raised by citizens are addressed effectively and that people receive concrete outcomes from such initiatives.
