Goa Medical College on Tuesday launched an online OPD appointment booking system, marking another milestone in strengthening the Goa model of healthcare, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that the Health Minister, Rane said the initiative is a decisive step towards making healthcare access smoother, faster and more dignified for citizens.
The online system will cover OPDs in Medicine, Surgery, Skin, ENT and Orthopaedics, and is expected to significantly reduce long queues while allowing patients to plan their hospital visits more efficiently. Rane said the reform is aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a technology-driven, citizen-centric healthcare ecosystem, where ease of access remains central to public service delivery.
