Vasco Police have registered a complaint after an unknown person allegedly created and circulated a fake digital poster featuring a woman and a minister, falsely claiming that the two were legally married. Investigators are probing an alleged drug network with links to Goa, Mumbai and Hyderabad. • Pillion rider Abhishek Dhawre (25), from Solapur, Maharashtra, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim. Dhawre was critically injured after the Bullet motorcycle he was travelling on collided with a roadside container at Kereye-Khandepar on Friday afternoon. The motorcycle rider, Uddhav Koli (26), had died on the spot. • Senior Congress leader M K Sheikh says GFP is already in alliance with Congress, adding that “not only doors but even windows” of the party are open for Vijai Sardesai.
