Maina-Curtorim Police have arrested two more accused persons, namely Vinayak Das, a native of Karnataka, and Suresh Pujari, a resident of Seraulim, in connection with the Nuvem mob assault death case. Police had earlier arrested three persons in connection with the case. Police have also identified seven other persons allegedly involved in the incident. • Margao JMFC Court remands three accused to 5 days police custody. The trio was arrested by Maina-Curtorim Police after an unidentified man, suspected of two-wheeler theft, was allegedly assaulted by an unlawful assembly at Nuvem on August 27.
