North Goa Additional Sessions Court has granted anticipatory bail to Vamnesh Ganexam Kuttikar in the attempted murder case registered by the Panaji police following the brutal assault of a 21 year old youth from Taleigao by a group in May this year  •  Prisoner Rovina Lobo, arrested by Colvale Police in connection with an alleged drug smuggling case at Colvale Jail, was produced before the Mapusa JMFC Court; The court remanded her to 14 days of judicial custody.  •  AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal claimed that around 25 lakh tonnes of sugarcane have been diverted for ethanol production, which he said is contributing to rising sugar prices. He announced a town hall on E20 tomorrow at 3 PM.  •  19-year-old ITI student Prashant Mukre drowned after slipping into Jaddi Lake at Valgalli in Kumta while visiting with friends.
