Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has directed the Director of Education (DoE) not to transfer lecture-based teachers from higher secondary schools where student protests are underway. Newly promoted teachers posted at these institutions will also continue. DoE has been asked to ensure that the student protests are brought to an end. • Air India Express has filed its Winter 2026 international network changes, with a key boost for Goa as the Goa-Dabolim–Dubai service is set to resume at 7 flights weekly. The airline has also announced several new routes, resumptions and frequency changes across its international network. The winter schedule remains subject to change and may evolve closer to the season. • Prashant Joshi has been elected Chairman of the Goa chapter of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). IndiGo Reshapes Navi Mumbai ATR Network, Goa Services Affected

IndiGo is set to retain three ATR aircraft at Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI) for the Winter 2026 schedule from October 25, with the airline making changes to how the aircraft are deployed compared with the summer timetable.

The revised network will see three daily ATR flights between Navi Mumbai and Ahmedabad, with one of the services operated by an aircraft based at NMI.

The airline will also operate two daily flights each to Rajkot Hirasar and Kolhapur, with a Navi Mumbai-based ATR covering one departure on both routes.

Additionally, Bhavnagar will receive two daily flights, while Diu will have one daily service from Navi Mumbai.

The Diu rotation will operate through Ahmedabad, following the routing Navi Mumbai–Diu–Ahmedabad–Diu–Navi Mumbai. This will allow passengers travelling between Navi Mumbai and Ahmedabad to connect through Diu. With the network restructuring, the Surat–Diu sector has been removed from sale.

The biggest change for Goa is the absence of a scheduled ATR operation between Navi Mumbai and Dabolim Airport in the Winter 2026 timetable.

As a result of the revised aircraft deployment, Dabolim–Coimbatore and Dabolim–Nashik/IXU sectors are also no longer available for booking.
