Workers associated with Goa-based vehicles operating for HP Company have raised concerns over their pending salary increase, alleging that their demands have remained unresolved despite repeated requests.

The workers said they were earlier informed that their salaries would be increased if the previous transport tender was successfully passed. However, after the tender was not accepted, the company reportedly brought vehicles from another state for its operations.

Despite the change in transport arrangements, the workers claim that their salary demands continue to be ignored. They also alleged that whenever they gather outside the company premises to raise their concerns, they are accused of attempting to stop vehicles.

The workers further claimed that the owners of the Goa-based vehicles have also not responded to their requests for a salary revision.

The workers are now appealing directly to the new transporter to hear their grievances, consider their pending salary demands and work towards a fair and mutually acceptable solution.
