Vasco Police have registered a complaint after an unknown person allegedly created and circulated a fake digital poster featuring a woman and a minister, falsely claiming that the two were legally married. The poster was allegedly shared across social media platforms with an intent to defame the complainant. • Vasco Police have registered a case against Samir alias Chammu of New Vaddem for allegedly assaulting Santosh Prajapati and his wife with fist blows, a stone and a knuckle near the water tank at New Vaddem; The accused allegedly obstructed traffic and later resisted police intervention, assaulting personnel while they were performing their duties. • Telangana EAGLE police arrested a suspected drug dealer near Miyapur Metro Station and seized 14 MDMA pills weighing around 9 grams and two mobile phones. Investigators are probing an alleged drug network with links to Goa, Mumbai and Hyderabad. • Pillion rider Abhishek Dhawre (25), from Solapur, Maharashtra, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim. Dhawre was critically injured after the Bullet motorcycle he was travelling on collided with a roadside container at Kereye-Khandepar on Friday afternoon. The motorcycle rider, Uddhav Koli (26), had died on the spot.
