The High Court has directed the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to place on record all official orders and agreements pertaining to the transfer of management of the Goa State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Limited, popularly known as Goa Dairy, to the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The matter has been listed for further hearing on October 7. • The trial court at Merces has remanded Israeli national Yaniv Benaim, alias Atala, to 14 days of judicial custody in connection with the drugs case. Advocate Manguirish Usgaonkar, appearing for Atala, said that his bail application is pending before the High Court and will be taken up for arguments on September 21 • Following the direction of the High Court, Israeli national Yaniv Benaim, alias Atala, surrendered before the trial court at Merces in the drugs case. Atala was missing since his bail was cancelled on August 14 in the case.
